Aztec
The Aztec settled on a small island in Texcoco called Tenochtitlan. The Aztecs made a great empire with many great inventions like causeways to get in and out of the city. They also created chinampas which are floating dirt which they grew crops on. The Aztecs loved to go to war and sacrafices, they loved death in general you could say. The Aztecs decline was caused by spanish conquistadors who killed lots of Aztecs and also brought horrible diseases that killed the rest.

Economy
The Aztecs had a great economy. Aztecs grew cocao as a plant on chinampas which are dirt floating on water used to plant crops on. Also a big part of Aztec daily life is sacraficing.
Social Structure
The Aztec social structure was mostly based around sacrafice. They would kill a little over 1000 people per year. Aztecs had very brutal sacrafices like the sacrafice of the sun, they rip out a heart and raise it to the sky. During other sacrafices they would cut off someones head and roll it down a temple. The sacrafices were all very gruesome and bloody. the classes of Aztec were very close to the Maya classes. In lower class were slaves and farmers. In upper class is preists and royals.
Goverment
The Aztec goverment was very loveing of war. Aztecs loved to war and the remaining survivors from enemys were sacraficed and turned into slaves. Aztecs almost never lost in war only to conquistadors is when aztecs lost.
Beliefs and religion
The Aztecs belived in very gruesome things. Aztecs thought that sacrafice drove the gods and allowed them to do their job This is why they sacraficed so often. If the aztecs didnt sacrafice to the sun god Aztecs thought the sun would never come back up again. The Aztecs also had more then one sun god in fact five sun gods. These sun gods included Tezcatlipoca, Quetzalcoatl Tlaloc, Chalchiuhtlicue. This is where it gets tricky there were to gods after this,to claim sun god they had to jump in flames.One did and the other quicly followed so there were really 6. The two others were Tecciztecatl and Nanauatl.
Advancements/Achievements
The Aztecs were a very advanced tribe. The Aztecs made causeways which are floating bridges over water. Aztecs made chinampas which are floating dirt on water to plant crops on.
Architecture
The buildings were of various colors, mostly bright some dark. Most buildings had special markings or symols to tell this building is that. Aztecs mostly use stone to build their temples and other structures
